Terms & Conditions – Please Read Carefully

  • 1. No Refund After Safari Commences
    Once your safari has started, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This includes missed days, early departures, personal dissatisfaction, or changes in itinerary after the safari has begun.
  • 2. Strict Cancellation Policy
    Cancellations made within 30 days of the safari start date are subject to the following penalties:
    • 30–15 days prior: 50% of total booking amount is non-refundable
    • 14–7 days prior: 75% of total booking amount is non-refundable
    • Less than 7 days: 100% of total booking amount is non-refundable

    No exceptions will be made for personal circumstances, travel issues, or emergencies.

  • 3. Booking Confirmation Requires Payment
    A booking is only confirmed after we receive full payment or the agreed deposit amount. Verbal confirmations, email holds, or provisional bookings are not valid without corresponding payment proof. We recommend completing payment at least 30 days before your safari date.
  • 4. Late Payments May Lead to Automatic Cancellation
    If final payment is not received by the due date specified in your invoice, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without further notice. We are not responsible for any losses, including flight changes or missed opportunities, caused by delayed payments.
  • 5. Force Majeure
    We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control. These include but are not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, strikes, pandemics, civil unrest, weather conditions, flight cancellations, or road closures. In such cases, we will work with you to find alternatives, but no refunds will be issued for circumstances outside our control.
  • 6. Client Responsibility
    It is your responsibility to provide accurate personal details, passport information, travel documents, and any special requests or medical conditions at least 14 days before departure. We are not responsible for visa issues, incorrect passport details, or travel documentation problems. You must ensure you have valid travel insurance that covers safari activities, medical emergencies, and trip cancellation.
  • 7. Third-Party Services Disclaimer
    We work with trusted third-party providers including hotels, lodges, airlines, and ground transport companies. While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for disruptions, service failures, or losses caused by these third parties. Any issues with third-party services will be handled directly between you and the provider, though we will assist where possible.
  • 8. No-Show Policy
    Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point on the scheduled date and time without prior notice will be treated as a no-show. No-shows are charged 100% of the total booking amount. No refund or rescheduling will be offered for no-shows.
  • 9. Changes to Your Booking
    Date or itinerary changes requested after booking confirmation may incur additional costs and are subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee of $50 per change. Last-minute changes (within 14 days of departure) may not be possible.
  • 10. Photography and Marketing
    We may take photographs or videos during safaris for marketing purposes. By booking with us, you grant us permission to use such media unless you explicitly opt out in writing before your safari. Your privacy is important to us, and we will not use images in a way that causes embarrassment or distress.
  • 11. Legal Enforcement
    These terms are legally binding and constitute the entire agreement between you and Tanzania Safari Source Tours. Any disputes arising from your booking or safari experience will be governed by the laws of Tanzania. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiations before pursuing legal action.
  • 12. Our Commitment to You
    While these terms protect our business, our real commitment is to your satisfaction. We promise to deliver the safari experience you booked, with professional guides, reliable vehicles, and genuine care. If issues arise, we will work with you to find fair solutions within these policy boundaries. Your dream safari is our priority.
